AN EXEMPTION FROM THE PERMIT IS NOT AN EXEMPTION FROM INSPECTION: L&I requires an inspection request before any electrical work is covered, no later than 3 business days after the work is finished or 1 business day after any part is energized, whichever comes first, and failure to request one can carry civil penalties.
