About This Project
Kolmo Construction converted a garage in Olalla, Kitsap County, WA, into a finished, insulated room with new drywall, a framed ceiling, ventilation windows and LVP flooring. The building stayed and the inside was rebuilt. The old wall sheetrock, ceiling and sink came out, and the open garage side was framed in and closed off to the roofline. The exterior walls were insulated, and about 700 square feet of wall drywall was hung, taped, textured and painted. The new framed ceiling has an access hatch to the storage space above it, and both sloped roof planes were drywalled and painted. About 480 square feet of LVP went down over the prepped slab, and a new sink and faucet were connected to the existing water and drain lines.
